The Fancy Cow
Our Mission
To raise and produce quality beef and pork for our customers. We ensure this through proper grass grazing programs and feeding high quality grains determined by our past experience and nutritionist. This allows better marbleization and structure in our finished product.

Who We Are
Welcome to The Fancy Cow Meat Market, proudly presented by Roberson’s Family Farm in Somerville, TN. Here, we specialize in premium farm-fresh beef from our Black Angus cattle and succulent pork from our Duroc/Berkshire hogs.
What We Do
At Roberson’s Family Farm in Somerville, TN, we’re proud to offer farm-fresh beef and pork raised right here on our land. We also partner with trusted local farms to bring you high-quality goat, lamb, and chicken—all raised with care and integrity.
We believe in keeping things simple and honest:
-
No hormones, no steroids, and no dyes—ever.
-
All of our meats are processed at a USDA-inspected facility for your peace of mind.
-
Our steers are grass-fed and grain-finished, while our hogs are pasture-raised and grain-finished for rich flavor and great texture.
We offer beef, pork, goat, lamb, and chicken by the pound, all vacuum-sealed, labeled, and ready for your freezer. Looking to stock up? We offer quarter, half, and whole beef as well as half and whole pork for bulk orders—perfect for families, gatherings, or just making fewer trips to our store.
Our store features local, seasonal goods: local blueberries, local vegetables, sourdough bread, whipped cinnamon honey butter, sourdough cookies, cooking tallow and tallow skincare products from the beef fat straight from our farm. Also available: quail eggs (pickled and fresh), tamales, cold drinks, local candles, farm-themed items, The Fancy Cow t-shirts, all grilling necessities, cinnamon rolls and so much more.
Don’t forget to take a photo in our pink chair and become The Fancy Cow Fan of the Week!
From our farm to your table, we’d be honored to feed your family the way we feed our own.

Our Practices
We practice rotational grazing. We feed commodity grains mixed to specific amounts determined by our past experiences and a nutritionist. There are no hormones, no steroids, no dyes added. All beef, pork, goat, lamb, and chicken are processed at a USDA facility. Also, all steers, hogs, goat lambs, and chickens are transported and handled under USDA regulations.
